Skillet Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Brussels Sprouts (stemmed and halved)

  • 1 Sliced Onion

  • 3 cloves of Pressed Garlic

  • 4-5 slices Bacon (sliced into thin lardons)

  • Lane’s/Reload HD 4.0

  • Soul to Belly Ultra Garlic Powder

  • Unsalted Banner Butter

  • Duck Fat Spray

Cook

This cook was done on a Weber Kettle, but can be easily replicated on any grill or stovetop.

  1. We started by coating the Brussels lightly with Duck Fat Spray and tossing them with some freshly pressed garlic in a large mixing bowl.

  2. After preheating a cast iron skillet, we lightly sautéed the onions in the butter until they just became translucent.

  3. Next, went in the bacon lardons.

  4. Once the bacon was ~half-way cooked, we added the Brussels and garlic, seasoned with HD 4.0 and Ultra Garlic Powder, and left the mixture to cook on the grill.

  5. We stirred the Brussels about every 5 minutes while they cooked.

  6. We pulled the skillet off the heat when the bacon was rendered and crisp (to our liking), and the Brussels were soft and gained some color. This took ~20 min.
